Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Workbench (workbenchtool.netlify.app) provides free online tools. Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what information is and is not collected when you use the site.

Your tool data stays on your device

The text, files, images, passwords, dates and numbers you enter into our tools are processed inside your own browser. They are not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see them.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which tools are popular. Google Analytics may collect anonymous information such as pages visited, approximate location (country or city), browser type, device type and how you arrived at the site. It does not collect the content you type into the tools.

Cookies

Google Analytics and, in the future, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

Advertising

We may show ads from Google AdSense or similar partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads or opt out through aboutads.info.

Third-party services

The site uses Netlify for hosting, Google Fonts for fonts, Google Analytics for statistics and a code library delivered by cdnjs for the QR code tool. These services may receive your IP address when your browser loads the page, as is normal for any website.

Children

Workbench is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Contact and messages

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you. We do not sell or share them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
